This is the one factor that is always left out when the company compares the Times Union to other newspapers. We continue to be a very profitable newspaper, and the company sharing that info would void their argument that we are in just as much trouble.

Hearst is profitable because of all other avenues of revenue, the newspaper being at the lower end of profitability.
Reading the Sunday paper lately is as bland as having sawdust for breakfast.
Thank goodness there are a few good writers left on staff, at least I get 5-7 minutes of pleasurable reading.
