Thursday, June 12, at the Colonie Town LibraryThe June 26 session requested by your union will be off the record for legal reasons, though we will discuss with the Company what information can be shared in a follow-up membership meeting.

NYS Healthy Workplace Bill passed the Senate Labor Committe
S3863, the Newspaper Guild of Albany endorsed NYS Healthy Workplace Bill passed the Senate Labor Committee on Tuesday.
New York Healthy Workplace Advocates is now asking supporters to start calling Senator DeFrancisco’s office and request that the bill be heard in the Finance Committee before the end of session.
The Senator’s office can be contacted at his District office in Syracuse at: (315) 428-7632 and his Albany office at: (518) 455-3511.

Guild Picnic will be Sunday, June 8, at the Crossings!
This year’s Guild picnic will be held in a brand new location, but with the same great food as last year.
We’ll be having our picnic at the Crossings of Colonie, closer to the Times Union building and with no parking fee!
Food will be served from noon to 3 p.m., with beverages until 5 p.m.
Guild members can bring their immediate families. Singles can bring a guest.
