Today we distributed windshield screens with that message. If you did not get one, email us at office@albanyguild.org.

We will be asking you to place them in your windshield in the parking lot from time to time. We also encourage you to use them when you are shopping, parked on the street or anywhere else you go.

On some days, we’ll get a group together to go park in a particular place. We cannot get a fair contract and raises without maximum participation.

It is your union. It is your raise. It won’t be handed to you.
You have to stand up for it!

A lot of people will be going to see Sir Paul McCartney of Beatles fame down at the TU Center this weekend. Being in a Beatles frame of mind, the Guild is asking for “help” from fair minded people in bringing a seven-year contract dispute to fair end for everyone. Keep an eye on this sign, as our message will change over the next 6 months as we communicate about our union and the lack of raises at the highly profitable Times Union.
